Rosemary Biscuties
Looking for a salty and crispy snack? This recipe (all credit to the original from BBC Good Food) goes down an absolute treat with a glass of wine and a bit of cheese!

Makes 20
150g plain flour
½ teaspoon caster sugar
½ tsp fine salt
2 tbsp good quality olive oil, mixed with 80 ml water
1 tbsp chopped rosemary
+ Coarse crystal salt to sprinkle over the top
1. Lay out a sheet of baking paper the size of your oven tray and pop a bit of flour on it
2. Set your oven to 200c degrees (fan)
3. Using your hands, mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl (with the exception of the salt to sprinkle over the top!) until they form a dough.
4. Roll out the dough onto the baking paper. Try and make the dough as even and thin as possible without pulling any holes into it.
5. Slice the dough into around 20 squares. There’s no need to separate them further – just make sure the slices go all the way through to the baking paper.
6. Brush the squares with water and then sprinkle salt over the top.
7. Using a fork, prick each square once.
8. Pop your baking paper, with the squares on – onto the baking tray.
9. Bake for 13 minutes or until golden.
Tip: If some of these aren’t crunchy, try with step 4 to make the dough as even as possible.
